On Monday, Nov. 13, Kirk Anderson, chief financial officer and vice president of administration, announced a tuition increase of 3.38% for the 2024-2025 school year.

In an email sent to this year’s First-Years, sophomores and juniors, Anderson said that the increase is due to increased inflation and ongoing campus improvements. Referenced in the email were the $11.2 million Bergendoff renovations, the $2.7 million Sorensen renovations and the $1.2 million Lincoln Park tennis court complex as well as inflation in food service, healthcare, travel and technology.

The increase of 3.38% means that students should expect to pay around $51,282 next year without taking into account financial aid or scholarships. Currently, tuition is $49,605, which was a 3.85% increase from the 2022-2023 school year.
