St. Baldrick’s raises money for cancer research

On Wednesday, Dec. 6, registration for the third Annual St. Baldrick’s concluded. The event, hosted by Rho Nu Delta, will take place on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Started in 2000, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer driven charity that hosts head shaving events across the U.S to help raise funds for cancer research for children. The charity supports childhood cancer research grants across the country, second only to the U.S. government. With every dollar raised, 82 percent of the proceeds goes to research to find a cure. Rho Nu Delta is hoping to raise over $35,000 this year.
