Giovanine gets 300th victory as a Viking

Men’s  head basketball coach Grey Giovanine received his 300th win on Jan 24. in Decatur, IL, with a win over Millikin 71-68.
To take the win, junior Ben Ryan scored a total of 16 points, while junior Hunter Hill scored 15 points. Rounding out the scoring was junior Griffin Pils and junior Brandon Motzel with 10 points each.
Giovanine’s record as head coach is now 300-116. However, as a collegiate head coach, his overall record is 380-203.
This season Augustana stands with a record of 16-2 and 6-1 in the CCIW. The Vikings’ next game will be at Elmhurst on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
