On Monday night, November 23, Augustana students gathered in the Brew to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu New Years festival. The event was hosted by the Office of International Student life. Students were invited to share Indian food, see dance performances, receive henna tattoos, and many more fun activities. Diwali celebrates new beginnings and is also known as the “Festival of Lights.”
