The opening of Centennial Bridge, which connects Rock Island and Davenport, has been delayed for the second time since its closure.
The bridge, which is 74-years old, closed Aug. 3 and repairs included replacing expansion joints and beams on the span of the bridge.
It was originally scheduled to re-open Sept. 6, but was pushed back to re-open Oct. 10 instead.
There is not an expected date of re-opening.
Bikes paths have been open since the closure, and the Quad Cities Marathon held the race across the bridge as well.
