Transportation company Burlington Trailways, which services a stop at Augustana, recently fixed a pricing error.
Ticket fare had been $50 for a one-way ticket and $100 for a round trip ticket to Chicago. Those prices have been changed back to their original intentions, at $32 for a one-way ticket and $64 for a round trip ticket to Chicago.
“I have had the price corrected in our online system,” said Burlington Trailways Vice President Marty Bradley. “Nobody had brought that incorrect fare to my attention until I read your (the Observer’s) article.”
Burlington Trailways has had a bus stop on campus since 2010. The company is continuing to make improvements to their service.
The company hopes to continue to be a resource for Augustana students. If you have any issues in the future do not hesitate to contact Burlington Trailways.
