Student supervisors receive wage increase

On Feb. 9, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration Kirk Anderson sent out an email notifying the campus of a wage increase for certain on-campus jobs. The increase is $1.25, bringing the wage from $9.75 to $11 per hour. This increase only applies to students in “supervisory roles and other roles requiring a particular skill set.”

According to the email, the increase will begin on April 3 to be reflected in the April 14 paycheck. Those who are in a position that qualifies for the increase will be notified by the business office sometime in March.

This change comes shortly after the student work wage survey the Student Government Association sent out on Feb. 8.
