We at the Observer are committed to encouraging public engagement and discourse now more than ever as we practice social distancing. With that in mind, we would like to invite you to submit story ideas, photos, opinions pieces, and videos during this first week of — what we’re calling — Quaran-Term and beyond.
It is our hope that you have a platform for expressing yourself, a safe space for sharing your experiences, and a continual voice through our publication. Interact with us and your neighbors safely this week through the following opportunities:
- Submit photos of your back-to-school outfit during quarantine season
- Are you wearing sweatpants like us? Are you trying a little harder to get yourself motivated? Maybe you’re wearing something silly to make yourself feel better as you wake up for your first digital class discussion at 8:30 a.m. We want to see!
- We’d like to feature you on our website and social media channels! Send your photos to [email protected]
before Tuesday to be featured.
- Are you spending time with your pets?
- We could all use a little feel-good moment right now. Send us videos of you and your pets (dogs, cats, lizards, fish, turtles, horses, birds, dragons, etc.) — HORIZONTALLY FILMED, PLEASE — and we’ll feature you on our site/social media channels.
We’d love to hear from you all!
