On Oct. 30 at 4 p.m., Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration Kirk Anderson sent an email to the student body informing them of a $0.25 wage increase for all on-campus jobs. The increase will bring the supervisory position wage up to $11.50 per hour from the current $11.25 per hour and will bring all other wages up from $10 to $10.25 per hour.
The increases come after approval from the Board of Trustees Oct. 4 meeting.
According to the email, Augustana “remains in compliance with laws and regulations in the State of Illinois related to minimum wage.”
The increase is effective Oct. 28 and will be reflected beginning in the Nov. 22 paycheck.
