Public safety officers are warning students to stay aware of their surroundings tonight. That’s according to Jama Schwegman, public safety dispatcher.
According to Schwegman, the office has received several unconfirmed reports from students that there are several people walking around campus in black ski masks or with hoods over their faces.
Schwegman also says Rock Island Police are aware of the situation. Schwegman was unable to comment further on the situation. The Rock Island Police were not available for comment.
