Q:What is the team’s biggest strength and biggest weakness this season so far? Describe them a bit.
“Our biggest strength is that we have such a deep bench. We are able to play with anyone and the dynamic of the team on the court never changes. That is something very rare to have in a team. I think our biggest weakness is we are still figuring each other out and finding out what works the best.”
Q:What is your biggest strength and biggest weakness this season so far?
“I think my biggest strength is my defense and being able to read the hitters on the other teams. One thing I am always working on is to consistently communicate with our hitters on what is open on the opponents side.”
Q:Do you consider the team’s performance (skill and mentality wise) thus far to be improved from last year? How so?
“We have become a lot tougher this year compared to last year. I think our offseason workouts really pushed us to that next level. Many people put in lots of extra work during the spring and summer.
Q:How did it feel to break the all-time dig record at Augie?
“It was a really awesome experience. It has been a goal of mine since my freshman year so to finally reach it was exciting.”
Q:Describe your most memorable moment out on the court.
“Taking Carthage to a 5th set in the conference tournament my freshman year was one of the most exciting games I have played in.
Q: What are your hopes for the team this year and the team after you leave Augie?
“We are such a talented group and I really hope we can show our conference what we have been doing by placing in the top 4.. We are playing a lot of ranked teams so it would be really awesome to get on that list. I think this program is something very special and I can’t wait to see what they do in the next couple of years. I hope to see Augie at the top of the CCIW.”
