The women’s soccer team won 2-0 against Webster University to improve on their hot streak of now four wins.
Senior Hannah Lohmeier scored at the 47:51 mark by an assist from fellow senior Bri Frys. Sophomore Melette DeVore scored the secondgoal at the 58:12 mark which was unassisted. It was Lohmeier’s second goal of the season and DeVore’s first.
Junior and Augustana goalkeeper Bailey Bradford saved all three shots on goal from the Webster Gorloks. Webster goalkeeper Robin Bolme was able to save six of the eight shots on goal that the Augustana offense was able to produce.
Augustana looks to continue their winning streak against Loras College who will come to Thorson-Lucken Field at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
