After defeating Babson tonight, 68-48, we will play for a National Championship tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. eastern time. UW Stevens-Point won the second semifinal game over Virginia Wesleyan. UWSP has a very good team that plays disciplined defense and has a multitude of highly skilled players. It should be a heck of a championship game and we cannot wait!
The Carver Crazies were in full force today, even though we were halfway across the country, and did a tremendous job of creating chaos for the Babson players. I believe that the enthusiasm from our crowd was what willed us through to a win as the game dwindled down in the final minutes (we finished the game on a 22-1 run).
