The men’s basketball team, currently ranked no. 1 in the nation, will take on Emory University on March 11 and either the University of St. Thomas or Whitman College on March 12.

The Vikings have better statistics in other areas such as field goal percentage (.507) and three-point percentage (.377).
If the Vikings defeat the EU Eagles, they play the victors of the second semi-final game on March 12. This will be either the University of St. Thomas, currently ranked eighth, or Whitman College, currently ranked 11th.
If the Vikings are victorious on March 12, they will travel to Salem, Virginia for the Final Four and another shot at the NCAA Division III title.
The game on Friday will take place at 7:30 and the game on Saturday has yet to be announced.
Both games will be at the Carver Center as the Vikings host the sectional for the second time in two years.
