Coach Giovanine’s basketball team wins their last home match of regular season play over Millikin University with a score of 73-65.
Tonight’s game was also senior night with the Vikings graduating five seniors including: Nic Hoepfner, Mark Roth, Alex Dziagwa, Danielius Jurgutis, and Kevin Schlitter. All seniors saw floor time, except the injured Schlitter since his season came to a close four games in with a knee injury.
Other Vikings that helped secure the win was Hunter Hill with a game high of 24 points and Jawan Straughter and Griffin Pils in the double digits, as well.
The team’s current record is 20-4 and 10-3 in CCIW play. The Vikings will play their last regular season game at Wheaton on Feb. 21.
